About the Role

Your Role as Service/Project Manager

The Station Department works within the voltage range of 0.4–400 kV with maintenance, projects, and fault remediation in switchgear, control facilities, and other electrical power equipment. Our customers are primarily grid companies, infrastructure companies, industries, municipalities, regions, and other service companies.

As a Service/Project Manager, you will mainly work on smaller projects and conversions, as well as planning maintenance and service at our customers' facilities.

We are looking for you who are motivated by creating the best conditions for the technicians in the field and for the organization. The work involves a strong focus on safety, progress, engagement, and quality. We hope that you will help the business grow and, in addition, generate further opportunities in cooperation with customers and suppliers. In the role, you will primarily work from your office, but you will also be out in the field. Day trips are a natural part of the job. The work is independent, but at the same time, it requires a strong focus on cooperation and communication with both internal and external actors.

Some of your main tasks:

• Responsibility for commercial planning and the implementation of projects through work leadership and coordination.
• Inform and report on the project's status to the client.
• Responsible for the financial outcome of the projects/orders, as well as handling closures and follow-ups on the economy.
• Participate in construction meetings and negotiations with the customer.
• Actively contribute to new business with new and existing customers.
• Actively contribute to us creating Sweden's safest workplace together.

Requirements

As a Service/Project Manager with us, you will be the technicians' main contact for the work performed in the field. Leadership is a large part of everyday life, and therefore we are looking for you who have a problem-solving and coaching approach.

In addition to leadership, a large part of the work is being able to independently drive projects forward. We are therefore looking for you who want to take responsibility and who have a strong commitment to your assignments. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues and customers, you act commercially with good entrepreneurship, and you would never let profitability come before safety. At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first!

We are looking for you who have:

• A completed upper secondary education or higher, preferably within electricity, electrical power, technology, or another relevant area.
• Work experience of project/service management within the contracting industry or relevant education.
• Computer skills (Office package) and experience of process-controlled work in case management systems.
• B driver's license, as travel occurs in the service.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience of project/service management within station maintenance.
• Experience with the business system SAP.
